NAIS approached Absolute Websites to create an all-in-one booking system that is flexible and customisable. The idea was to allow customers to book specific time slots for padel and football online, and to provide custom pricing conditions depending on the time of the booking and the duration of the booking. The website also needed to integrate with multiple payment solutions, including an online credit/wallet system that allows users to top up their accounts and transfer funds to other users. The website also needs to feature an eShop to allow the purchase of products.

To create a customised online booking solution with an integrated wallet system

NAIS Sports looked to advertise padel tennis and mini-football on their website, allowing users to book and pay for specific slots online. The company wanted to provide a seamless experience with a lot of focus on UX design. The challenge was to create an easy-to-use system that works with multiple payment gateways and can host an array of custom pricing conditions and solutions. Notably, it was important to integrate a calendar synchronisation for bookings, for both the end user and the admin.

Research, UX and Testing

Due to the various functionalities (Commerce, bookings, wallets, calendars etc…) that NAIS needed, it was important to spend a lot of time researching solutions and best practices. Also, understanding that sports clubs receive a lot of foot traffic and online bookings, studying the top centres around the world was important to grasp how we can create the most optimal user experience. We also placed a lot of emphasis on testing the website and functionalities to make sure that we can create a seamless experience for the user.

Successful launch and continued online growth

Our team successfully managed to create a platform that showcases the focal sports that NAIS offers (mainly padel and football) and provided an easy-to-use booking system for users. With meticulous testing, users have the ability to book online, have their booking synced to their calendars, buy credits (at discounted rates) and use those credits to book sports and to purchase products from the eshop.

NAIS now dominate the sports club market in Cyprus, and through SEO, they are first on Google for many key terms such as 1v1 padel or 2v2 padel.
